The promotion of mental health and prevention of mental illness is a strategic and
policy priority in Australia and is reflected in similar directions internationally.
AeJAMH is a forum for advancing mental health promotion, prevention of mental illness, and early intervention
approaches to mental health. It is a peer reviewed, online, open access journal.
Call for contributions
Contributions are invited from clinicians, practitioners, consumers,
carers, researchers, academics and commentators across the broad range of
disciplines that are involved in these approaches to mental health. We are interested in:
reviews and theoretical articles;
original applied research and empirical
studies;
analyses of population needs;
evaluations of innovative or model programs;
service reorientation studies offering
solutions for administrators, policy makers and service providers;
comments on policy, history, politics, economics and ethics.
