Auseinet Inclusion Criteria
General Inclusion Criteria for Auseinet
The following criteria are aimed at ensuring that the content on the Auseinet website is credible, current and relevent.
Sites, organisations and resources need to show evidence of being:
- unbiased
- are not influenced by commercial interests
- do not endorse particular products
- willing to disclose responsibility
- includes names of people or organisations who provide content/funding,
- provide disclosure of any affiliations with relevant organisations
- produced by people or organisations with appropriate expertise or experience
- authors' credentials are stated
- relevant to PPEI in Australian setting
- should reflect the concepts of PPEI as outlined in "Promotion, Prevention and early Intervention for Mental Health: a Monograph", Commonwealth Department of Health and Aged Care, 2000.
- currently appropriate
- content should contain dates of publication or submission.
- content should have lasting value
- presented in a user friendly and correctly structured manner
- easy to navigate
- correct spelling and grammar
- appropriate and current links
- able to fit specific objectives set by reference groups (such as the Auseinet Consumer and Carer Consultative Committee)
- eg: encourage sharing of successful strategies/resources for improvement of mental well being.
